Bessel was one of the first surfboard shapers to have his surfboards featured at La Jolla Surf Systems when the shop opened up in 1979 and we dive deep with Tim as he shares stories from the early days of La Jolla Surf Systems. Listen in to an unscripted conversation between Tim Bessel and Sean Brody as they chat about some of the world renowned surfers Tim has made boards for, including a decades long relationship with Jon Roseman of Tavarua Island, learn about how Tim got involved with the Andy Warhol Foundation, how he first met Andy Warhol at the Playboy Club in New York based off a dare from friends and how Warhol used to live across from the La Jolla Surf Systems shop for a period of time.
